Slam Dunk by Takehiko Inoue, 1990. The manga is complete at 276 chapters across 31 volumes.

• 1993 anime (101 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 185 in volume 21. The last three episodes are an anime original game. The National tournament was never adapted.
• The First Slam Dunk: Continue the manga from chapter 185 in volume 21. This film adapts only the final match against Sannoh Kogyo, chapters 221 to 276, with new flashbacks. It skips the rest of the National tournament.
