Where to continue the Gintama manga
Gintama by Hideaki Sorachi, 2003. The manga is complete at 704 chapters across 77 volumes.
- Gintama (Season 1) (201 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 293 in volume 34.
- Gintama' (Season 2) (51 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 384 in volume 44. Episode 252 is an anime-original send-off, so the last real chapter this season adapts is 383.
- Gintama' Enchousen (Season 3) (13 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 403 in volume 46.
- Gintama° (Season 4) (51 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 552 in volume 62.
- Gintama. (Season 5) (12 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 596 in volume 66. Wraps up the Rakuyou Decisive Battle arc.
- Gintama. Porori-hen (Season 6) (13 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 596 in volume 66. This season goes back to animate lighter side and gag arcs the earlier run had skipped, so it isn't new story. If you watched through season 5, your reading position hasn't moved.
- Gintama. Silver Soul Arc (Season 7) (12 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 632 in volume 70.
- Gintama. Silver Soul Arc - Second Half (Season 8) (14 episodes): Continue the manga from chapter 687 in volume 76. The TV anime stops at chapter 686 and covers the gap with an original scene. The real finale is in the film Gintama: The Final.
- Gintama: The Final (movie) (1 episodes): You are caught up, the anime adapts the manga through chapter 704. The 2021 film adapts the closing chapters of the Silver Soul arc (roughly 687-704) to the manga's ending.
